Chevrolet Axle Mounting Kit, Rear, 1940 Chevy Car. Gas Shocks

This is a rear axle mounting kit for open drive line rear ends with a 3 inch or smaller axle tube diameter.
Lowers the rear approx. 3 inches. Spring perch; 46-1/2 inches. Locates rear wheels to center of wheel arch.
The kit includes:
- Front and rear spring mounts
- Spring pads
- 4 U-bolts and nuts
- Rear shock mounts with spring retainers

Measurements:
- 48 inch spring from eye to eye
- 24 inch pin to center
Note: Use a rear end that measures about 60 inches wheel flange to wheel flange.
