Axle Mounting Kit, Rear 1940 Chevy Car. Standard Shocks

This is a rear axle mounting kit for open drive line rear ends with a 3 inch or smaller axle tube diameter. The kit includes front and rear spring mounts, spring pads, 4 U-bolts and nuts, rear shock mounts, with spring retainers, upper shock bar, standard tube shocks, shackles, slider leaf springs, bolts and instructions. Use a rear end that measures about 60 inches wheel flange to wheel flange. Lowers the rear approx. 3 inches. Spring perch; 46-1/2". Locates rear wheels to center of wheel arch. Measurements: 48 inch spring from eye to eye 24 inch pin to center
