John Fezell’s 1937 Chevy Coupe

This is my 1937 Chevy coupe that I built over a four year period getting it on the road the summer of 2015. It was a basket case when I found it in Wisconsin in 2011. It was taken down to the last nut and bolt and rebuilt from there. The basics are: Mustang ll front end with coil overs, disc brakes and power steering, 355 CI SBC 4-bolt main Vortec roller motor, 700R4 overdrive transmission, 66′ Chevy ll rear end with 3.73:1 gears, Auburn posi-traction carrier, and Moser axles. It has a Brice Thomas aluminum radiator, Cooling Components electric fan, GM serpentine system, all Ron Francis wiring and electrical components, Vintage Air and heat, Classic Instruments gauges, and Crager Super Sport wheels. The paint is 69′ Camaro Hugger Orange base/clear with a rawhide tan accent stripe and was painted by a friend. The interior was done by another friend, James Arledge, and is awesome. Many of the new parts came from Chevs of The 40’s as well as some savvy advise from time to time. We are looking forward to a summer of cruising and car shows.
