Bruce And Jackie Teague's 1939 Chevy 2 Door Sedan
The goal was to build a streetrod that we would be able to drive on trips around our beautiful country. The project took six years and was finished in December of 2016. The car has power rack & pinion steering, four wheel power disc brakes, heat/defrost/AC and cruise control. The car is powered by a 327ci Chevy small block, 700R4 automatic transmission and a Ford 9 inch rearend. The dash and interior accents are made of Birdseye Maple. We live in Wisconsin so the car is stored during the winter but since it was completed the car has been driven 10,600 miles through 11 states.
We plan to take many more trips, there is nothing like seeing the country in a car that you built.
Many of the parts used to build our car were purchased from Chevs of the 40’s and the quality and service has always been excellent !
Thanks Bruce and Jackie Teague
Greetings fellow 39er,
Beautiful build! Your exterior color looks very similar to mine. (Oct 2018)
Love the interior. Where did you source the bucket seats?
Thanks,
