Alex Gomez's 1947 Fleetline

April 2018

Alex Gomez's 1947 Chevy Fleetline

I found my 1947 Fleetline in a junkyard in Placerville, Ca. in 1991. Restored it frame off. Bought a 235 from a friend and had it rebuilt.  Body was at my buddy George's, he also painted the body and redid the woodgrain dash and window mouldings. Interior was done by Francisco. The majority of my parts that l needed were purchased at the Pamona swapmeet and a few from friends. The car was all done in 18 months. l started hitting all the car shows around town and won 1st and 2nd many times. I have about 70 trophies and 25 plaques. The paint job and interior still look AWESOME for 27 years. Still winning awards. Won 1st place at the Lowrider Car show in Chicago in '98. In 2010 l added air ride and a 4 link suspension She rides soooo GOOD! Thank you for your time.
