The Temperature Gauge has a capillary tube that goes from the back of the gauge to the probe that is located in the head. if the tube is cracked or pinched or leaking the gauge will not function. The tube cannot be removed and then reinstalled to the gauge. You will nee to remove the entire temperature gauge and tube and have a Specialist in Gauge Repair rebuild that for you.
