Remote electric a/c alternator back-up support

    Chevy’s of the Forties, is selling the remote electric a/c unit, looks inviting, but I haven’t seen any support information of what to expect after installing or installing one of these unit. Such as, amperage draw of 49+ amps, this is going to load the alternator considerably, which some car owner alternators may not be capable of handling this & other accessories at the same time. On a hot day with the a/c on & pulling lots of amperage, seems like an invitation for the alternator to self destruct. Reminds me of the sound systems that pulled so much amperage that guys had to re-do their power support systems for lots of money. Would like to see you guys do a “how to” or mfg. supported “how to”. I have no a/c on my car, but wouldn’t consider this unit, until I know more about the details. Thanks
