Correct Ohms for Ignition Coil

    Sorry, the primary was set on 200 for the ohm reading, not 200k.

    Trying to resurrect a 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe with a 216 straight six. Looks like it has the original ignition coil with primary terminals on top and the secondary on bottom. I ran an ohm test and got 1.9 for the primary (set on 200k) and 4.29 for the secondary (set on 20k). Just going by what I’ve seen/read, it looks like the primary ohm reading is a bit high (should be 1.4-1.8?) and the secondary is way-low (should be 8.0-12.0). Does anyone know the correct ohm readings for these or should I just get a new ignition coil to be safe?
