1949 and 1950 Chevrolet Cars used a Huck Brake System and have a 5 lug bolt pattern where as 1948 and older have Huck Brake System but have a 6 lug pattern. Being that the Brakes shoes for 1949 and 1950 are a 2 year window, unfortunately they have not been reproduced at this time. You will need to have your shoes cleaned up and relined.

Chevs of the 40s advertise brake drums for models up to 1948 and then again from 1951 on. Can’t see a mention for 1949 brake drum availability?
Can anyone advise if there is comparable models Pre 1949 or Post 1950/51 where rear brake drums in particular are interchangeable with my 1949 Styleline Sedan?
