Getting ready to upgrade the ol 41 half ton pickup. I have a 9″ Ford posi rearend, but trying to decide if I should use a new lower profile paralax leaf spring, or go with a 4 link and coil over shocks?
Also, going to install a IFS type frontend using a rack steering system. My funds are limited so an air bag system is out. Its a street rod driver with a healthy small block chevy, turbo 400 setup. Im a fabricator welder type guy, so will be installing kits myself on what is now a stock frame.

Would like any input on rear suspension likes and dislikes. Steering, power rack verses manual, which might be the right setup for my pickup? Trying to do it right the first time…. Thanks
