Filter media is a medium gray, washable oiled cloth. Color wise, it blends with everything in the engine compartment. Stainless steel mesh instead of the normal black painted steel mesh to hold it together. The stainless adds a lot of sparkle to what is normally a pretty mundane looking item. Rubber ends are molded for superb fitment. Have you ever noticed how irregular and sloppy some brands are in this area?
