Fred McMurray's 1938 2 Door Sedan

I bought this car 26 years ago as an old streetrod that was built somewhere in the late 60’s or 70’s that cruised Vancouver Island, BC Canada. It was rough with black paint falling off, rusty chrome, a worn out 283, turbo 400, high back bucket seats, black diamond vinyl interior.
I drove it for a summer and decided it was time to update it and install a Mustang ll front end. Well that was the start of a 6 year frame off restoration, as when I removed the front end and drivetrain I found rust so lots of metal fabrication took place.
So now I have a great vehicle for road trips that has taken me as far south as Sacramento CA with enough power to keep up with the traffic and then some. It now has a 427 SBC from Bill Mitchell Engines in NY, AFR Eliminator heads, and it's backed up with a pro built 700r4 with Bowtie Overdrives Level 3 kit and input drum, plus a Ford 9 inch out back. Parallel leaf rear suspension, QA1 coil overs up front.
Features bucket seats, overhead console, Dakota Digital dash, cruise control, all 4 power windows, power cowl vent, power antenna, tucked in smooth stainless bumpers, Led lights etc. the list goes on and on.

I believe this is the very best ’38 sedan I’ve ever seen! I have a pretty clean ’37 coupe and just bought a ’38 tudor sedan.Just prepping the frame for Must. II, so I’m just getting started
